Through the protected rainforest of Finca la Virgen return more and more animals. So also the puma.

A puma has been spottet twice last year. Unfortunately, he also ate two little pigs from our heighbor Mario.

Due to the progressive deforestation, the rainforest, buildings and more and more palm oil fields, the wild animals often have no choice! The animals are denied access ro remaining forest through barriers. We now want to close the river triangle below the protected farm to create animals further retreat.

 In the picture the river triangle ( red part appr. 8 ha) is to be closed and partly wooded again ( 3ha).. Cost of purche $ 40.000; costs for reforestation $36.000 ( 800 trees per ha to 800x15US$ = 36.000 US $)

The possible buyer is registered as the owner in the national register ar the owner. We help with formalities.

The Tropical Station La Gamba www.lagamba.at is currently planting several thousand rainforest trees on the property right opposite the red area. We deliver the rainworm compost for the plantation together with campesinos from La Virgen.
