Only the combination with economic and social support leads to sustainable development and sustainable rainforest protection. The project activities in the target areas are implemented with the Campesinos with which the Finca La Virgen has successfully collaborated for many years.  Since the beginning of 2007, Finca La Virgen has initiated,  financed, organized and supported more than 11 protection and development projects
     • Reforestation (reforestation) in the Los Angeles / La Virgen area
    • Support for small-scale farmers in sustainable construction methods
    • Promoting income-generating measures such as:
    • Compost production
    • Rainworm fertilizer
    • Pepper cultivation
    • Vegetable growing in greenhouses
    • Shingle production
    • Fish farming (Tilapia)
